Scalloped Bowed Lampshade
The Scalloped Bowed Lampshade combines elegant curves with decorative detail. This scalloped bowed lampshade features a gently curved empire profile and a shaped edge finished with trim. The result is a refined design that feels both classic and distinctive.
Available in sizes from 20cm to 56cm in diameter, this versatile bowed empire lampshade suits bedside lamps, table lamps, standard lamps, and floor lamps. The curved empire shape directs light downward while allowing it to diffuse softly. This creates a warm and inviting glow without harsh glare.
Each scalloped empire lampshade is handmade to order in our Devon workshop. We use traditional techniques and quality materials to ensure a durable and structured finish. This scalloped bowed lampshade offers a decorative alternative to a standard empire shade while maintaining elegant proportions.
Custom Scalloped Empire Lampshade Design
Use our Shade Builder tool to design your custom lampshade step by step. Begin by selecting your required size. Then choose brushed cotton or faux silk to complement your interior style. Both fabrics provide a smooth finish and excellent light diffusion.
Each scallop is individually shaped and carefully trimmed. This detailing defines the curved outline and enhances the overall silhouette. You can also select the fitting option that suits your lighting fixture.
Handmade Quality and Timeless Design
This curved empire lampshade pairs beautifully with ceramic, brass, glass, and painted lamp bases. It complements traditional interiors, boutique spaces, and country homes. The shaped scalloped edge introduces softness and movement to the classic empire form. It adds visual interest without overwhelming the lamp base, making it suitable for a wide range of interiors. Also working well in more contemporary settings.
Every Scalloped Bowed Lampshade is made to order in the UK. Slight variations may occur, reflecting the craftsmanship behind each piece.
